Hi everyone! This is a reminder that there is just one more week to sign up for round 7 of Secret Pal!! The deadline is Midnight on January 4, 2006. We will not accept any signups after that. Please make sure to include all of the information listed in the rules below. E-mail us at sp7hostesses@yahoo.com with SP7 Signup in the subject line, and you'll be entered to participate.
Also, the button contest is up in just 2 days! If you'd like to design a button, e-mail it to sp7hostesses@yahoo.com with "button" in the subject line. We must receive these by 12 midnight on Friday, Dec 30th. Winner will be selected shortly after by pooling all entries and chosing one out of a hat. Thanks for all of the entries so far and we look forward to seeing more!

So, who else already has 90% of their secret pal shopping done?
Some participants from SP6 suggested that they felt "out of touch" with their pals due to widely differing age brackets. So, for SP7, while we may not match up folks exactly according to age group, we thought we'd at least keep track of generational differences.
You could always specify, beside your age group, that you'd like to be paired randomly. That way, the folks who don't like the idea of sticking within their own demographic can be left out of that pairing process.
how do we put these buttons on our blogs? i dont get it.
you highlight the button and save the image to your computer. Then you can upload it to a free photo server (photobucket or flickr) and get a html tag for your blog. Cut and paste the tag (photobucket will write the HTML for you) to the templates section of your blog and link it to the SP7 page.
I can't remember if I said in my info that I don't care about age group, but just in case I don't. Age doesn't bother me at all.
Also any idea when the questionairre will come out?

Since I am 31, I answered the age question with "25-34" but I have no age preference when it comes to being matched up. Will the questionnaire be the same as SP6?

To those who've asked - the questionnaire for SP7 is similar to the one used for SP6 - however, we've added a few new questions. I think it will be distributed after sign-ups are completed, but we haven't firmed up a date, yet.
One of these days, there will be so many questions in the questionairre that it will take a week to answer it and an entire afternoon to read your pal's!
