Wrapping Up SP7

Hi everyone! Just a post to let you know we are currently working on wrapping up SP7.

1. Best Secret Pal Contest - Over 10% of you nominated your pal for the best spoiler award! We have decided to draw several names from the group of nominations and spread the love (and prizes!). We will be posting the winners here in the next few days.

2. On the flip side, we are also working on assigning angels to a few of you. Thanks to all of you who volunteered to step in and be an angel - we might be contacting you very soon!

Last Day!!

Hi Everyone,

It is the last day of Secret Pal 7. We would like to Thank you all for joining and having a great time over the last 3 months.

If you have yet to send out your last package, please do so immediately and please, please let the person your spoiling, as well as your hostess know of the delay. We really don't want SP7 to end on a sour note.

As one of my best group members, Fred, just pointed out we haven't updated the blog in a while!

Just to bring you up to speed...

I hope you're having a great start to spring and the knitting, crocheting, spinning, and spoiling are going well!

This is the final month of Secret Pal Seven, which means you should be sending your spoilee his or her final package shortly... and revealing yourself. The official end date for SP7 is March 31st--which is also the final day to nominate your spoiler for Best Secret Pal.

If you have not yet sent your spoilee anything, please, please do so immediately and make it up to him or her. If you're having any concerns at all, please contact your hostess at her email address or sp7hostesses@yahoo.com. Please send concerns as email rather than comments so we'll best be able to help.

Best Secret Pal Contest Reminder

I hope you're all enjoying spoiling and being spoiled!

Just a quick reminder as we approach "mid-terms" for SP7. If you're planning on gifting your pal with one big gift in the end, please take a second to let your spoilee know that you'll be doing this so they'll know they haven't been forgotten!

And, as an extra incentive and to reward pals who are going above and beyond, I'd like to remind you that we're taking nominations for Best Secret Pal until the end of March. One of many prizes donated by your hostesses is a limited-edition skein of Miss Hawklet's handspun yarn! Spoil your spoilee rotten and then nominate your own spoiler (when you know their identity!) by emailing us at sp7hostesses@yahoo.com.

I hope you're really enjoying your SP7 experience. I know I'm having a blast!

I know we've still got 6 weeks left of SP7, but we're already getting a lot of questions about when SP8 will begin. To address this, it's time to start planning! If you've enjoyed SP7, and think you would like to help hostess SP8, let us know! Send an e-mail to sp7hostesses@yahoo.com with "I want to be a hostess for SP8" in the subject line.

Please note that this is just a call for hostesses. As SP8 actually gets planned, we will post more information here, and to the SP8 blog (which we will also publish after we've developed it).

Please continue having fun spoiling your pal! There are still 6 weeks to go, so don't stop now! Keep in touch with your pal, and if you are running short of ideas, e-mail your hostess who I'm sure would be happy too help you out.
