As one of my best group members, Fred, just pointed out we haven't updated the blog in a while!
Just to bring you up to speed...
I hope you're having a great start to spring and the knitting, crocheting, spinning, and spoiling are going well!
This is the final month of Secret Pal Seven, which means you should be sending your spoilee his or her final package shortly... and revealing yourself. The official end date for SP7 is March 31st--which is also the final day to nominate your spoiler for Best Secret Pal.
If you have not yet sent your spoilee anything, please, please do so immediately and make it up to him or her. If you're having any concerns at all, please contact your hostess at her email address or sp7hostesses@yahoo.com. Please send concerns as email rather than comments so we'll best be able to help.

Do we just give our pal our blog address as we see fit or is there a special "unveiling" ceremony that we should wait for?
This is entirely your choice. For my spoilee in SP6, I left a series of "clues" in little envelopes throughout the final package and revealed myself there. You could also email your pal after s/he receives the last package. It's entirely up to you... be creative and be sure to reveal yourself in one way or the other! :)
Hi Erin,
I just came across this today and I want to be involved if there's an SP8. I absolutely love to spoil people (I would guess at least 90% of everything I've ever knit has been for others) and this is right up my alley.
I imagine I'll find some answers as I meander through the blog but maybe it would be faster if you could enlighten me instead - will there be an SP8 and what responsibilities does a hostess have? I'd love to help out!

Hi, Patty! Signups for SP 8 will be announced on this blog as soon as they're known. If you would like to be a hostess, please send us an email at sp7hostesses@yahoo.com. Hostesses are responsible for matching spoilers and spoilees, answering questions, assigning angels if necessary, and acting as a go-between in case there's a problem with the swap. Please apply if you're interested!
I would love to be involved in SP8-how do I sign up? What are the requirements?
